Synthetic Testing Continued... 3DMark Vantage  3DMark® Vantage is the new industry standard PC gaming performance benchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista and DirectX10. It includes two new graphics tests, two new CPU tests, several new feature tests, and support for the latest hardware. 3DMark® Vantage is based on a completely new rendering engine, developed specifically to take full advantage of DirectX10, the new graphics API from Microsoft. 3DMark Vantage can also test your video card in several different ways. We'll be giving results for the Performance, High and Extreme tests.
The HD4670 is able to handle all of the tests, including the Extreme test. I'm still impressed that this is a $79 card. Unreal was benched using the benchmark program from HardwareOC with everything set on High.
Unreal Tournament is a DX9 game and the card provides more than playable frame rates, even at the higher resolutions. Company of Heroes DirectX 10 Patch
Company of Heroes with the DX10 patch was benched with the settings on medium and the AA at 4x.
