S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky:

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky is another game that takes advantage of the capabilities of DirectX 10.1, and it also happens to have a free downloadable benchmark.  Set in the time period before Shadows of Chernobyl, the player assumes the role of a mercenary in a radioactive wasteland.  Based on the X-Ray 1.5 engine, Clear Sky makes for a popular benchmark.

For the both cards, testing was again done at 1680x1050, with all other settings maxed out, including DX10.1 rendering and 4xMSAA.

Single GPUs:

4870 Toxic:

4890 XXX:

The 4890 XXX put the pain on in STALKER, too, racking up gains of 24.5%, 36.2%, 23.3% and 23.9%.  Again, these margins are much higher than the stock versions of these cards.
