Setup
The first thing you have to
do after installing the device is set it up in Media Center.

Once you click on "set up TV
signal", windows will walk you through the rest of the setup and you're
set. If you finish the setup and you still don't see your TV, then
you will have to install a third-party DVD decoder that is certified for
Windows XP Media Center Edition. Now you are ready to watch TV.

Discovery Channel looks
pretty good on the computer. The best part of this device is it's
ability to work with Windows MCE as a PVR. If you are unfamiliar
with what a PVR is just think of a TIVO. This gives you the
ability to pause live TV, rewind or fast forward back to where you were
before you paused it.

When you press pause, the
device automatically starts recording the program you are watching.
Once you hit play again you will start where you left off. This is
a great feature and allows you to pause your show and make a trip to the
kitchen and not worry about missing anything. The best part is you
can catch back up to live by skipping the commercials.

You will also be able to
record your favorite shows to your hard drive. Of course, how much
you can record will depend on the size of your hard drive and the
quality you choose.
