Little over a year ago, Kingwin, master of hard drive
accessories, released the EZ-Dock. The EZ-Dock changed the way
we access data on our spare hard drives. The EZ-Dock quickly
became a huge success with hardware enthusiasts and computer
technicians everywhere. In fact, we use our EZ-Dock nearly every
day right here on our bench. It's an invaluable device that
makes accessing data on random hard drives quick, easy and
painless.
Today Kingwin is introducing their new line of docking stations;
the Dock Master. The Dock Master comes in three flavors, a
2.5"/3.5" USB 3.0 Interface, a 2.5"/3.5" USB 2.0 Interface and a
Dual Bay 2.5"/3.5" docking station with USB 2.0 Interface. Our
sample happens to be the USB 3.0 version.
As with the Kingwin's EZ-Dock, the new Dock Master is designed as an easy to use external hard drive platform
for quick bench testing and data backup. The
Dock Master works with all 2.5" and 3.5" Serial ATA hard drives and
connects to a computer via USB. The major difference is the new Dock
Master serices does not have an eSATA interface and Kingwin has
added a flip down guide for 2.5" hard drives.
