The availability of commercial grade water cooling products has more than tripled in the last two years. Advancements continue to be made to nearly every facet of the water cooling concept. While some companies focus their efforts on all-in-one solutions such as the Cooler Master AquaGate the higher performance kits are still component based that require quite a bit more planning and assembly efforts on the part of the user.

The kit we have here is the Swiftech H2O-120 revision 3. (As this was a pre-release unit, please disregard the REV 2 stamp on the printed manual.) Even though this is a "kit" it is still very much a do-it-yourself project. Swiftech aims to make the installation process as simple as possible by including every piece of hardware required to finish the job. Every clamp, screw, and all the tubing necessary is included to make the installation as quick and painless as possible. The same Swiftech quality that we have come to expect is still there. The above picture shows how the components/pieces were removed straight from the box. The tubing came already attached to the waterblock and pump, and the tubing was wrapped with Cool sleeves which allows the tubing to be bent at greater angled without pinching the line closed.

To make the process even easier, Swiftech has included (since Revision 2) a reservoir replacing the effective yet tiresome "fill and bleed" kit/process. The reservoir will mount into an empty 5.25 inch drive bay and utilizes a patent pending step down chamber which bleeds air from the system while containing the bulk supply of coolant. There is a single fill port located on top of the reservoir which allows easy access to add more coolant as required. The rear of the reservoir has three 3/8 inch National Pipe Thread (NPT) fittings. Utilizing the NPT standard means you can buy fittings at your local ACE Hardware store to repair/modify the system as needed, to include adding another loop to the system if need-be.
