Final Installation

Once the waterblock is installed, it's really all downhill from there. Simply position the reservoir in the bay you want to install it in, measure out your hoses, cut and install the hoses, fill the reservoir, and prime the system. After you let the system run for several hours, you top off the fluid, mount the reservoir and button up your case. It may look complicated, but Swiftech water cooling kits are very easy to install.

Here you see the back of the reservoir as it being primed for use. Don't forget to check for leaks during this process!

Above is a picture of the reservoir from the front of the case. The unit mounts deep enough that the cover plate can be reinstalled to completely hide the reservoir. Just don't forget to check your fluid levels from time to time. Although the water cooling system is completely sealed, it is perfectly natural for it to loose water from evaporation over time.

Once you have purged all the air from the water cooling kit and thoroughly checked for leaks, it's time to boot your computer and take it for a test drive... Due to the kit's ease of installation, I had the kit fully installed and purged in just a couple hours. Now it's time for some testing!
