This is a brand new CPU so I'll only be comparing it with the Intel heatsink.  The way I'm going to test is simple.  I'm going to get the idle temp by letting the computer set for a few minutes, doing small tasks such as browsing our forums.  Then I'm going to crank up the 3D mark benchmarks and finally play Guild Wars to get the temperature at load.  I'm going to overclock as far as I can and repeat the process.  I'm going to be using the heat probe that came with the water kit and I'll be using the Asus PC Probe utility to verify the temps.  I'll get the temps of the video card from the Catalyst Control panel.

Results:

Testing and overclocking was done at default voltage.  These CPUs are amazing.  If you want some very good overclockers, pick up a 600 series Pentium 4 while you can.  One note, the retail heatsink on these CPUs are terrible.  Intel decided that these P4's don't require the copper slug in the heatsinks.  Really they don't, but you cannot overclock with those heatsinks.  I would be willing to bet that 4.0GHz could be had with a decent heatsink.

The video card was less impressive.  I was only able to get 50MHz out of the core and the memory so it really wasn't enough to make a dramatic difference in temperatures.  However, there was a dramatic difference between the air and water temps.

Final Thoughts:

I was impressed with the quality of a sub $100 water kit.  Yes, we have seen nicer kits, but those kits are up in the $300~$400 price range.  This is an awesome kit to get started into water cooling.  Very easy to follow directions and the installation isn't that hard either.  I really liked the fact that this kit works for most of the popular CPUs.  I would like to see Evercool use the Intel heatsink retention method for attaching the water block to the CPU.  Other than that I have absolutely no complaints.  I recommend this kit for anyone wanting to get into water cooling.  Great kit, great price
