The power supply is cleanly packaged and the modular
cabling is nicely bundled in a Velcro fastener. The power supply
also included the manual, a standard power cable and 5 mounting screws
in matching black.

The ModXStream is finished in a nice glossy black with
matching black braided sleeves. The most common connectors are
attached directly to the unit leaving the modular runs to the more
optional leads.

No tough choices here, the power supply will run all of
the included cables at the same time if needed.

The bottom surface is dominated by this load controlled
clear 120mm fan. The fan is lit by four blue LEDs and the lighting
appears to react to the load, growing brighter under load and rather dim
at an idle state. I have never been a fan of additional stickers
but the ModXStream keeps the extras fairly minimal.

From this angle you can see the rest of the unit shows
off the shiny black finish well. OCZ follows the recent trend of
sticking with a single larger fan solution to improve airflow without
increasing noise levels leaving the back with a simple plug and switch
surrounded by open mesh.

OCZ has split the +12 Volt rails into
four 20A rails providing enough power for the demanding Crossfire and
SLI setups driving the top performance builds. Even the +3.3 V and
+5V runs offer ample power for all but the most demanding builds out
there today.

Although not as exciting looking as
many of the modular units we have tested, the ModXStream features a
clean dependable design with just the ports needed.
