Inside the main box is two cardboard boxes.  One houses all of the cables and such and the other contains the power supply.  Enermax dressed up these boxes with some fancy embossing.

Inside the smaller of the two boxes is the owners manual, power cord, bag and all of the modular power cables.

The larger box houses the actual power supply.

Layout

As you can see from the above photo, the Galaxy is quite a bit longer than a normal power supply.  This can cause some issues depending on what case you have and what optical drives you have installed.  We'll talk about this a little later.  Some of you may have noticed a lot of wires coming out of the front of the power supply and wondered why a modular power supply would need that many wires.

In fact, the Enermax Galaxy has enough cables hard-wired to it that for most computers you won't need any of the modular cables.  The only cable that I saw missing is the floppy cable.  This isn't a big deal to most people, but some of us still use the old floppy.  I use it to flash video cards and some motherboards.  I really like the fact that the most common connections are hard-wired and the "extras" are modular.
