Out of the box:

Our X-Finity came nicely packaged with the label side up.  The cables are contained in a separate box under the main body. And the Users Manual sits right on top.  The extra packaging is a nice touch assuring your X-Finity will arrive safely even after some rough handling in transit.

No surprises in the included extras.  The X-Finity ships with a standard power cable, mounting screws and a Users Manual.  Most PC builders will not need the manual but it is very clear and easy to find all the pertinent information you will probably need.

One of my pet peeves with power supplies is the excessive labeling many manufacturers use covering nearly every inch of the outside surfaces.  Thankfully the X-Finity Is limited to the labeling you see here.  That's a good thing as the entire outside of the unit is done in a classy anodized black finish.

The X-Finity is cooled by two 80 mm fans located at the ends of the housing.  These fans are supported by After Spin Technology (AST) helping to keep things cool even after the system is shut off.  Power supplies without a larger fan tend to run a bit hot so we will see if this remains true here.  The AC input is automatically controlled with a range of 100 to 240 VAC.

Ultra packs a lot of their FlexForce Slim Cables into the X-Finity but the titanium finish works well with the black.  I would also love to see a gold variant with matching fan grills and the black finish!

Taking a look at the cables, you can see that the X-Finity not only features a laundry list of connections but the cables are also much longer than your standard lengths.  This backs up their claim that the cables are designed to make runs behind and around components to keep your install looking clean.  Each cable can be bent at nearly 90 degrees providing the ability to run the cables just about anywhere you need them.  Although the cables aren't UV reactive the color does look nice under a blue UV as well.
