In the box

D-Link provides everything
you need to get started, right down to the user friendly setup CD
containing a wizard that guides you through the setup process.
However, if you have some basic network experience, running the
wizard is optional as it should work right out of the box.
Regardless, you should log into the router and customize the
settings, especially for security purposes.

Here we have a nice view of the router, power adapter, optional
router stand, and cable.

The DIR-655 is actually a pretty good looking
router with a tough looking back and white finish.

The DIR-655 is equipped
with three external antennas for superior wireless coverage in
larger homes and offices.

On the back of the
DIR-655 is where you will find the wired switch, cable/DSL port, USB
port, and power port.

The DIR-655 includes a
4-port 10/100/1000 Gigabit switch for connecting Gigabit wired
devices. This is a big bonus compared to most home & office routers
which only provide a 10/100Mbps switch.
