Crucial System Scanner

Patriot Corza Network Attached Storage

Software Installation:

Now that we have the device powered on and ready to go, we can begin with the software configuration.  The included manual is somewhat helpful, but it is obvious that it has been translated from another language, so I will walk through the installation here.  However, a couple helpful steps before hand:

  • Remove or shutdown all other network devices except for the router, the NAS, and the PC you are going to configure the device from.

  • Power down the NAS and the Corza for a few minutes before restarting them back up.

Once everything has been booted up, run the Corza_Setup.exe located in the Corza Setup.rar archive on the disc.  You will see a black splash screen, where you will see the "Setup" option.  Once you click it, you should see something similar to the above.  If everything detects fine, click OK.

The next screen allows you to setup the options for acquiring an IP address.  Most people will be satisfied with "obtain an IP address".  This basically queues the router to use DHCP to automatically assign an address.

The next screen sets up the date and time options.

The final screen shows the settings that we set in the previous screens.  Make sure everything here is good, and click Save.
