Crucial System Scanner

Patriot Corza Network Attached Storage

Installation Continued:

The first step to installing the Corza is to access the hard drive bays.  To do this, all you have to do is press the button that latches each bay into place.

Once the button is pressed, the latch will swing open, and the bay can then be pulled out.

Here is a shot of the bay once it is removed.  Inside the bay is a plastic insert that provides rigidity to the structure when a hard drive is not present.  We will need to pull this out.

To do this, we must remove four screws from the bay.  Once the screws are removed, the insert pops out.

Once the insert is removed, the drive can then be screwed into the bay with the provided screws.  Once the drive is secured, the bay can be reinserted into the NAS.  Repeat the above steps for the secondary bay.  Once this is complete, plug in power and network, and you are ready to start the software installation.
