Crucial System Scanner

Patriot Corza Network Attached Storage

Installation:

There are essentially two parts to installing the Patriot Corza NAS unit; the hardware, and the software.  We will start with hardware first:

First thing to do is to take a look at what we have, and familiarize ourselves with the device.  The Patriot Corza is a small black box, barely larger than the two hard drives it houses.  Access to the drives is in the front, which also includes a couple status LEDs.

The casing of the Corza is made from aluminum, painted black.  The enclosure is sturdy and attractive.

The rear of the device provides all of our access to data and power.  At the top left, is our power plug, which uses the standard power cable all computer users are familiar with.  Next to it is the power switch.  Below it is the small cooling fan, and to the right are the Gigabit LAN and USB ports.  Obviously, the LAN is necessary for network access, while the USB offers connectivity to a printer.

Here, we can see how the size of the NAS relates to the size of the drive that will soon be installed within it.

Included with the NAS is the power cable, CD with manual and software, hard drive installation screws, and an Ethernet cable.
