SL-N4Pro-939 Review
With the
rise of the nForce 4 chipset as the dominant form factor for the Athlon
64 family, we are seeing several new motherboard manufacturers break out of the
pack. Soltek has been on the scene less that 10 years and have already
made their mark with the
SL-KT8Pro family. The SL-N4Pro-939 continues the tradition of offering
full feature cards with window friendly looks. We put their latest to the
test here at Club OC.
The
SL-N4Pro-939 comes in the same eye catching packaging as the rest of the Pro
Series Mainboard collection. The only way to differentiate between the
models is by looking at the features sticker located on the front or searching
for the UPC.
The inside
opens to reveal more details about the board book style. Very nice, but a
bit misleading. The DIY debug LED is optional and does not come on this
model. The RedStorm 2 overclocking utility is also not available for this
model at the time this was written.
