Linked is definitely the way to go as long as your CPU can
handle it. As you can easily see, the memory suffered a
major blow to performance with timings of 9-9-9-24, even
with the memory overclocked to 2000MHz. So far it appears the
sweet spot is 1600/1600 at 7-7-7-20.

Everest tests the memory in a bunch of different ways.
That's one of the reasons I like to use it. Overall, the
memory performed pretty well. The latency scores are
high, but that's typical for high latency DDR3. Again, the
score suffered slightly at 1600/2000 but only in the read
benchmark.

Tight timings are always
important, but Super Pi didn't seem to mind as much.
Patriot Memory's DDR3 performed very well at 2000MHz. Even
at 9-9-9-24 timings.

Conclusion
It's great to finally see DDR3 coming into the price range of normal
people and this 4GB kit for only $255 will definitely be a
hot item. As far as performance goes, Patriot Memory has released some very fast memory
here.
The speed was great and overclocking was even better. I was
very surprised to see that this 4GB kit had as much
overclocking headroom as it did. At 2000MHz the kit
performed very well, but the performance did go down due to
the slower timings. At 1600MHz linked with the FSB at
1600MHz, the memory performed absolutely great. If you
can run your FSB linked with your memory speed, you can
really see the performance increase. Although we're probably
biased on the color scheme, we like it a lot. Overall,
this memory performs very well and is competitively priced. Club Overclocker
