Overclocked Benchmarks

250fsb 2.5-4-4-8 timings at 2.85v

SiSoft's Sandra 2004 SP1

OCZ EL4200

Corsair 3200XL

There is a significant difference here even running the 3200 well beyond its specified speed. The astonishing part is that we accomplished 250fsb running loose timings at 2.85v!!! Corsair has clearly done their homework, and once again has renewed my faith in their product. This is great memory here folks, but will the Corsair prevail in our gaming test's? Before we go on to our game test's we decided to see how tight we could get the Corsair to run. One problem is that our CPU is pretty much maxxed at 250fsb which is unfortunate, so instead of showing you how far the 3200XL's threshold really is we concentrated on tighter timings.

2-4-4-8 at 2.85v

Sandra at 2-4-4-8

Not too much of an improvement unfortunately, but Intel setups are like this, and you will witness more of an optimized video card function then high synthetic benchmarks such as Sandra. Its still nice too see the 3200XL doing so well at such a high FSB.
