CoolerMaster packages the Storm very nicely with a decorative box.  CoolerMaster does not include software in the box, but provides the latest version online.  I suppose this cuts cost a little and makes sure that you are getting the latest version of the software.

The first thing that you notice is the spectacular red color of the Storm.  My wifes Mustang is that color and so is my truck.  CoolerMaster is going to get bonus points from me just for the color.

You can see that the mouse is only to be used with the right hand.  The CM Storm logo is on the heel of the mouse.  The mouse has a rubberized feel to it.  It does not feel like any other mouse I've ever used.  The Storm is built for the claw style of mouse use.  This was something new for me.  I'm used to resting the palm of my hand on the back of the mouse.  This mouse is controlled by your thumb, ring and pinky fingertips.

Here you can see the business end of the mouse.  The buttons are nice and large and use Omron Micro switches that are good for 5 million clicks.  5 Million clicks is quite a lot.  If you average 1000 clicks a day, the switches will last 13 years!  Located right behind the wheel is the on-the-fly DPI adjustment.  The default DPI settings are 800, 1600 and 3500.  You can customize the DPI setting with the software.

The side view shows the soft rubber grip with two customizable buttons.  There are 7 buttons total on the mouse and all are customizable.
