Seagate Go Flex 3TB External Drive
I took a trip to the local electronics (somewhat) super
store with the goal of pickup another external hard drive. I wasn't even halfway
down the first isle before every drive looked like just an ordinary hard
drive....but watch out because that's no ordinary hard drive. That's when
I saw the Seagate GoFlex Desk drive. Not just because I had reached the
"S" section of the shelves at this point, but because Seagate has
actually made
this drive stand out from all the others...

Sure size matters! With this drive's
capacity of THREE Terabytes, it won't be you suffering from drive envy. But it was more
than the drive's capacity that got my attention. After a long enough wait,
we're finally seeing some USB 3.0 stuff make its way into the retail chains.
And while USB 3.0 is supposed to be backward compatible, it was the GoFlex
Desk's versatility that really made me stop and read the box.
Highlights
• USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 Plug-and-play
• Easy-to-use pre-loaded backup software with encryption

There's a really nice bonus for
the Mac owners. Seagate has included NTFS drivers for Mac which gives
flexibility to use this one drive between the two platforms (physical or
virtual) with full read and write capability.
