Testing
The
Cyber Snipa Ultimate Gamepad 2 is 100% plug-and-play with no drivers
needed. You simply plug in
the USB cable into a free USB port and you're ready to play. Simply put,
the Ultimate Gamepad acts just like a regular keyboard, except this one
is designed by gamers, for gamers. Also, there is no need to go into
your game setting and remap your keys. If the space bar is your jump
command in BF2, then it's the same key on the Ultimate Gamepad 2.
As you can see from
the photo below, the directional control keys are oversized to enhance
game play. The number keys are also raised on this version so you can
feel which key your fingers are on.

Version 2.0 |
As
far as I can see, there really isn't much difference in key layout
between version 1 and version 2. However, the keys on version 2 are a
little better and easier to feel. It's hard to make a good thing better,
but version 2 is a better game pad.
As with the original version, version 2 operates smooth and is nothing
like your cheap OEM keyboard. The keys don't stick or bind and are setup
in such a way that you only need one hand to operate it. So long hand
cramps or knocking over your drink while reaching over with your other
hand to find a function key. This game pad also helps me out with my
skill, as anyone who has ever played me knows that I need all the help I
can get! I find that I almost never look down to find a key while
playing as anyone who has ever played a fast paced FPS game knows that
if you look away from your screen, you're dead. So I die less, that's a
plus.
Besides being a VERY comfortable game pad, the Cyber Snipa also looks
cool. Flexiglow is famous for their glowing keyboards, so why not make
the Cyber Snipa glow as well? There is a little push button on the right
side of the pad so you can turn the blue LEDs off or on.
Conclusion
In
my lifetime I've used many different gaming mice, gaming keyboards and
gaming pads. None have made my gaming experience as comfortable as the
Cyber Snipa Ultimate Gamepad. Now I have the Ultimate Game Pad 2. Life
is good... Other pads I've used just don't have enough keys. Even worse
is many of them are cheaply made and the keys stick, bind or both. Not
to mention my last Ultimate Gamepad is about a year old and it still
works flawlessly. Heck, I don't think I've ever had a regular keyboard
for more than 6 months before it started giving me trouble. The Cyber Snipa
Ultimate Gamepad and Gamepad 2 has taken my gaming experience and skill
to the next level and I highly recommend it to any FPS player out there
who is looking to do the same.
