     The Alpha is basically a cast piece of aluminum and copper, nothing fancy, just pure function. You have to really appreciate this design since its been with us for so long. Is it still a must have? keep reading and you'll find out.

     The base of the Alpha is very nice to look at it. Most Alphas may need to be lapped so take that into consideration...

     The sink itself and the fan adapter. Back in the day you could modify the fan adapter and gain a few extra MHz. That probably applies today.
