Yeong Yang Technologies'
Mars YY-5603

Your choice of a case is a
direct reflection of yourself. Whether you like bright flashy
cases such as the
Minotaur or plain cases that are geared towards performance such as
the
Lian Li PC-6070B, it is the first thing people see when you go to a
LAN and the first defense of your installed components toward heat and
dust. The case should be stylish as well as effective. Today we
have in the Yeong Yang Tech Mars YY-5603. Let's tear into this baby and
see what she's made of...

The case that we
received for review was black with a silver and red face. It comes in
an assortment of different colors and there is also an option of a
windowed side panel. The first thing that stood out about the exterior
was the locking mechanism. Most cases have a simple rotary lock that
doesn’t work and can be over ridden with a coin. The YY-5603 has a high
quality steel latch mechanism that comes with two keys.

The control panel is
conveniently locate on the top of the case and includes two USB 2.0, one
IEEE1394, power and reset switches, power and HDD LED, and audio and mic
ports. I prefer the controls on the top of the case rather that towards
the bottom like some other cases.
