Sunbeam
Samurai - Gamers PC Enclosure
Sunbeam was one of the
first companies to dedicate its efforts to the Case Mod Craze.
Specializing their early efforts on Appliqués and Cold Cathode Florescent
Lighting, the company has expanded their product line to include things like
power supplies and even pre-mod Cases. Presently, Sunbeam has four models of
pre-mod cases to choose from. We at Club Overclocker have been given the
opportunity to review two of them, starting with this one; The Samurai.

The
Samurai is equipped with all of the standard accessories and features we
expect from a modern day enclosure. Five 5.25" drive bays can hold more than
just CD-ROM Drives. Many component-based water-cooling systems now
have reservoirs which fit into a drive bay. Folks who utilize a RAID array
know all all well that the floppy drive isn't dead just yet. To make
the single external 3.5 inch floppy drive bay more useful, you can populate
it with a drive that includes a card reader in the floppy drives bezel.
Having room for more than two hard drives inside the enclosure is a HUGE
bonus. The Samurai has room for four hard disk drives inside. Running a RAID
array means you'll be using at least two hard drives, and if you're a
data safety/security minded user then you probably off-load all of your data
to a totally separate hard drive too.
