The Guts Continued

Raidmax includes a 420watt power supply that is
ready to meet all of your needs. With the massive amounts of juice that
the new components are requiring a 420w power supply should be the minimum that
you go with.

You'll have to forgive my hasty
wiring job, but even with little effort on my part the design of the case allows
the cables to fall in a fairly neat arrangement.

The case is going to stay nice and
cool with the supplied fans. Raidmax included 6 fans, not including the
power supply fans. These fans are not extremely loud fans. The
exhaust fans are temperature controlled, so they will only be at their full
potential when your case is warm.

One of the coolest features of the
Scorpio 668 is the front door. The front door has decorative lights. This
is not too uncommon. However, the two boomerang lights are your HDD
activity lights while the blue light is your power light. These lights
actually have a function and are not just their for decoration.
Conclusion
This case is just about everything
you could ask for in a case. Raidmax sells the Scorpio 668 in Silver,
Blue, Black, Yellow and Green. The price of the case is right around
$100US and that does include the 420w power supply. Now the case is not
perfect. We've discussed the lack of a standoff in the included hardware
and I would have liked to see the entire case tools free and not just the side
panels. Raidmax has put together an outstanding case that you can be proud
to carry with you at your next LAN.
