Raidmax Samurai 908
“Spirit of War” review
The last year has revolutionized the way Gamers view their cases. From
windows to neon, hard core gamers have constantly looked for a way to
stand out from the beige box crowd. This Christmas wouldn’t a new Raidmax Samurai 908 look good under the tree?
When this case first arrived
I was immediately impressed with the packaging. The box is huge with
plenty of protection. I had a hard time just getting it into my
Mustang. Out of the box this case looks sweet! This knock out finish
is like a perfectly buffed black hotrod just waiting to be stuffed full
of cutting edge components.
In fact the high
gloss finish made it challenging to even photograph this case. See the
flash reflected off onto the wall?
about my curious puppy reflected in the paint?
Be assured this case is more
than a looker. The smooth profile and unique look of the Samurai have
been achieved by molding a sturdy plastic shell over a well designed
steel frame. This marriage of plastic to steel is also one of the few
drawbacks of working with this case; the Samurai is larger than almost
any case in its class and weighs about as much as a steel case and a
plastic trimmed case combined. This case also came with a capable 420
watt PSU installed. Did I mention this case looks sweet?
