Features Continued...

A few more plugs here. You'll notice an audio out and mic in
inputs on the front of the case on page 2. Well these are the headers that plug
into the motherboard to take advantage of those features. Pretty basic stuff,
but I have noticed cases that have the inputs but no cables to plug into the
motherboard to use it.

Another one of the options for this case is a blue cold cathode
which matches the Z-Blue theme well

Sunbeam makes the cathode for this case option. We reviewed a
multi-colored one a few months back and had no problems with it.. You can read

Conclusion....
Once again Raidmax hits the nail on the head. They have once
again created a name for themselves by cornering the market that appeals to just
about everyone that is into value and overclocking. The Scorpio 868 has plenty of
cooling power and ventilation to keep any Overclocking enthusiast happy. With
the optional LED fans and Sunbeam cold cathode you'll be the envy of any LAN
party or next-door neighbor! The real grip comes from the power supply, and
although I can't understand Raidmax's philosophy behind putting a 4 Molex'ed
plugs on a 420W PSU, I can see why its a budget case. However, I would like to
see a better PSU like the previous
LP-400W
Raidmax PSU we reviewed back in Feb 2003 offered as a upgrade, and I'm sure
the enthusiast wouldn't mind paying for it, since the money saved on this case
would surely justify its extra cost. Other than the PSU, the 868 is a great
piece of work to look at and enjoy! Recommended!
The Raidmax "Z Blue" Scorpio 868W
is available at Extremecases.com for just under $70 USD!
