The 400W Power Supply is from a new line up of power supplies being offered
from Raidmax. The new line up is called the LP series and unfortunately there is
no information to be found on their website so I found the need to improvise a
bit to try and provide the most information possible. The LP currently consists
of two power supplies the 400W and 500W, although I would imagine that Raidmax
will expand to offer a 600W in the near future seeing as how Overclockers are
starting to purchase 450W as the minimal requirement for their systems. Of
course this isn't just any old generic power supply. Most power supplies that
you just want to turn away from are those that have no physical weight to them,
and the Raidmax has plenty of weight, and its power specifications aren't too
far off the scale in regards to the competition.

As you can see the Power supply is well within decent power
specifications for us Overclockers. Best of all it's offered on pricewatch for
around $65 which makes it a steal for 400W.

This is one of two fans offered on the 400W. It is very quiet
and even though the Raidmax doesn't feature a third fan, this reviewer thinks
that more than two fans is overkill. I think Raidmax is trying to tell us that
you really don't have to spend a bunch of money for a good quality PSU.

One little whim about saving money. If you have a lot of
components you may wind up using a lot of "Y" splitters. The Raidmax doesn't
seem to offer as many molex's as the competition, although if you're simply
wanting to build a good gaming box with a single HD and DVD-ROM it shouldn't be
too much of a problem.
