Up close and personal continued...

Behind the plastic front cover is a solid metal case. No aluminum here to make the case light weight... The Maxtop CSF-1630B is solid build and is impressively heavy. Trust me, no one is going to just grab this baby and run off with it. If it wasn't for the wheels, I wouldn't be able to move the case around without help.

The left side of the case is where you would expect to mount the motherboard right? Wrong... In this particular case, the motherboard mounts up-side-down on the right side. So what do you install on the left side of the case? Well, not much really, but it is a perfect place for some extreme water cooling! The power supply mounts on this side and there is an extra hard drive mount, but it only holds two drives. All of your other storage is in the left side or in the front portion of the case.

Above is a picture of the right side of the case. This is the main storage area for the hard drives and motherboard. This is also where the controller board is installed that monitors the hard drives and cooling fans.

Shown above is one of two hard drive racks. Directly behind the hard drives is a pair of standard 80mm cooling fans (only one included). As for hard drive cooling, the three massive 120mm cooling fans in the front of the case blow directly on the hard drives.
