I really liked the box that the Volcanus came in. It doesn't
have a lot of graphics and the graphics that it does have are
subtle.

The packaging is more than adequate
and pretty typical for computer cases.

This is something that I wasn't
expecting. The Volcanus came with a little extra protection
for the front facade.

Enermax gives you plenty of bright red drive rails, some
motherboard screws, weight, instruction manual and some cool
custom cable ties. The drive rails have rubber grommets to
help reduce noise caused by vibration.
Exterior

When I first saw the first
case which was black with shiny black flames, I thought it was really
cool and I liked it. I was blown away with the second case when I
saw the red flames. The bright red really pops against the black
background and reminds me of an old hot-rod.

The flames are on both sides
for that wrapped around look. I would have enjoyed seeing flames
on the top of the case as well.

Mesh fronts seem to be the "in"
thing right now. I'm not too opposed to it (at the moment).
I like the look and it hasn't been overdone. Behind the mesh
is a removable filter material. It will help keep the inside
of your case clean.

The top of the case would
look sweet with some flames shooting down from the front. You can
see where an exhuast fan can be mounted. The top excepts a 120mm
or 140mm fan.

The I/O panel is located on the
front of the case, under the drive bays. Aside from the standard
mic/speaker port and two USB ports, the Volcanus also sports an eSATA
port and a "light" button. The light button controls the VEGAS LED
fan modes.
