CoolMax has chosen to relocate the power and reset buttons to the top of the case leaving the external drive bay area looking very clean.  It is refreshing to say the door feels solid with a magnet to hold it closed.  So many nice cases have fragile doors that break quickly.

The power buttons and the top I/O ports are located between the ears.  The panel has two USB ports and a set of audio plugs; one for the audio out and one for the microphone in.  The power button on our model tended to stick down at first but after several starts the stiffness was gone.

There is a spacer for a fire wire port although no fire wire option is given.  A quick look at the specs shows no fire wire option is available at this time.  Possibly an X’Bat plus is in the works?

The X’Bat theme is also used for the chrome fan covers and the side panel pulls.  A shroud is used by the side panel to draw heat directly from the processor.
