Cooler
Master
TAC-T01-E1C "Wavemaster"
Cooler Master has been pimpin' out aluminum cases almost as fast as some of
their best competition, especially Lian Li. What I think distinguishes Cooler
Master from the rest is that they are much like Lian Li in that they design and
manufacturer their own cases. They also have a rather large following with their
buyers primarily from the overclocking community. I'll be the first to admit
that the newest offering from Cooler Master is very easy on the eyes, although I
was a but doubtful on the overall quality in comparison to other cases made of
aluminum. On the contrary, after an in-depth look at this case, it has a lot of
little extras that make it special, and yes the build quality is no longer a
rumor to me, it is actually quite well put-together and designed. The Wave
Master is a very nice case indeed, and it's also a lot smaller than our previous
aluminum case review the Lian Li PCV-2000, which makes it a lot easer to move
around or carry to your local LAN party. So what is a Wave Master you may ask,
well its not some kind of 50yr old retired surfer, but I think Cooler Master
came up with the name from the overall design of the smooth transitional lines
this case has, so lets take a gander...
