Crucial System Scanner

Contents:

The HAF also comes with a couple of bags of screws, zip ties, a small case speaker, an EPS cable extender, wheels, and an insert for the floppy drive.  That's right, you can replace the stock feet with wheels.  Two of the wheels also have brakes.

Installation:

First off, we will start off with the hard drives, as hard drive mounting techniques tend to be one of the most common ways case manufacturers attempt to set themselves apart from each other.

On the left is a one of the hard drive mounting brackets pulled out from the case.  On the right is....well, a hard drive.

A closer look shows the rubberized grommet used to hold the hard drive in place.  The metal stud simply fits into the drive's mounting holes.  It appears the grommets are removable, however removing them is entirely unnecessary in order to install the drive.  The mounting bracket itself is flexible enough that you can simply bend it around the drive and snap it into place. It is very easy.

Once the drive is in place, simply slide it back into the bay.  The lever will catch the lip in the side of the bay, and upon closing, will snap into place.

The latch is snapped closed, holding the hard drive firmly in place.

Once the drive is latched in, turn the case around and manage the cabling for power and data.  Notice that the drive sits directly behind the 230mm fan.
