Crucial System Scanner

The Antec Skeleton is pretty hard to describe without a hands on demonstration, but I'll do my best. Although the concept is simple, I don't want to simplify the design because the case is actually quite complex. The easiest way to describe the Skeleton is that it's nothing more than a horizontal desktop tower with a huge cooling fan mounted over it. However, this desktop chassis has the motherboard mounted on the top tray with the hard drive, optical drive and power supply mounted on the bottom tray. This allows for easy hardware access, excellent cooling, and an awesome way to show off your hardware. Fancy window mods? Who needs them!

In the front of the Skeleton you will find the drive bays, power & reset buttons, and media ports. Pretty simple so far right?

Here we have a front view of the hard drive rack in the front of the case. The rack holds up to 2 hard drives which simply slides in and latches into place using a single screw in the side of the drive which acts as the latch.

The left side of the case is setup the same way and can hold up to 2 optical drives. These drives also slide and latch without any extra hardware other than the latch screw. No drive rails, no mounting screws.

In the top, Antec has mounted a massive 250mm TriCool 3-speed multi color LED fan that pushes a lot of air without a lot of noise. This is an awesome feature that I was never able to do with the old plywood bench tester.
