Packaging and Hardware:

We can tell right away that
the case is geared to saving you money. There are no fancy
high-color graphics on the box and even the packing material has been
cut back. Instead of the case being packed tightly by Styrofoam on
both ends, Aerocool uses cardboard boxes with Styrofoam in the corners
only. It serves its purpose and cuts on cost.

There really isn't a whole
lot to expect when it comes to additional hardware for a case.
Especially a case that has so many tool-free features. You get
screws for the
motherboard, a speaker, a faceplate with a 3.5" floppy cut-out and four
HDD/Fan adapters.

Is black turning into the
new beige? It seems like every case I see is black, even Dell and
HP. I'm going to start painting my cases beige to be different.
Back from my mini-rant. Aerocool didn't spend a lot of money on a
piano-finish paint job. However, there are a couple of highly
polished areas on the front cover. Above and below the I/O area,
you can see some green and white highlights on the highly reflective
area.

This is a steel case and
does not have the flimsy feel of a cheaply made case.

The
mesh in the front is perfect for a large intake fan. Every drive
bay cover is mesh with filter material attached. You'll need to
make sure you keep this area clean to ensure good ventilation.

Looking down
from the top, you can see another mesh area. You can just
leave this exposed the way it is or mount a couple of fans.

The on/off switch is a
rocker type switch. The top half turns the computer on and off and
the bottom half is the reset area. The I/O panel only includes two
USB ports and a mic and headphone port.
