The Xion case is very complete and my first impressions were that its one tough case. Its well crafted and the one thing about it that I like is that its not gaudy like some of the cases we've reviewed in the past in this price category. I'm not too sure about the finish but it appears to be painted with the plastic parts of the case being dyed black. It has a tough rugged finish that isn't exactly flashy, or gloss, just tough. It's more likely to be a semi-gloss which matches well with the lime lighting accents.

The limelight accents really help in the unique aspects of a cheap case. I honestly thought this case was worth a lot more given the 450W PSU included.

I like the heavy duty hinges. Notice the 4 external CDROM bays, and 2 3 1/2in bays. Notice that there are no exposed wires on the door.

The Xion has side cooling courtesy of a 80mm on the removable side panel that is secured by thumbscrews.

The side panel fit is great for a case like this. I also liked the stealthy look of the screws used to secure the window.

This is really bad. Someone forgot to paint the whole panel perhaps? Some people may not really care, and it's easily fixed with some spray paint. The QC stamp issues a certain amount of irony towards the whole situation and my only complaint with the Xion. What would make this case look really nice is some modding to the inside. Perhaps some red paint on the inside, cut out the fan holes, and mount some grills.
