GMC R4 Bulldozer Case Review

The front of the Bulldozer features another
temperature display, power and reset buttons, two USB 2.0 ports and a
set of HD audio ports. The front venting hides the bright red
LED lit 92mm fan. The optical drive bay is held in place by a
set of hydraulic looking shock absorbers that look pretty sweet.
The look is convincing but a hidden set of springs does the heavy
lifting.

The inside layout may look small here but thanks
to the vertical drive mounting the inside will take a full size ATX
motherboard. All of the cabling runs out of the front of the
case near the bottom where most case designs need it. GMC
hedges their bet with enough cable to reach just about anywhere on
each run.

Looking towards the front you can see the cage
supports the internal 3.5" drives. The top slot will
provide access to the back of the optical drive. The mesh
screen behind the front 92mm slides out of the frame for easy
cleaning. Nice touch.

The back provides a closer look at the black 120mm
fan. The simple design is good for keeping costs down but nothing to
get excited about.

From the bottom we have a set of large rubber feet
and a standard 80mm mounting for another 80mm fan (not included).
The open space under the front bevel helps keep air flowing to the
front fan.
