Think Big. Go Small. The ASUS Nova P22
-- The powerful, portable Dual Core mini-Desktop PC --

FREMONT, CALIFORNIA (Feb 19, 2007) To better integrate with various room types in the modern digital home, ASUS®, producer of high quality Digital Home products, has released a new desktop PC – the Nova P22. The space-saving Nova features an Intel® Core™2 Duo Desktop Processor, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.0 technology for robust multitasking and communication. Operating at a mere 25 decibels, (below human hearing) the P22 offers multimedia enjoyment free of distraction. Its diminutive footprint, slot-loading drive and a classy exterior revisits the multimedia system concept on a whole new level.

The Perfectly Balanced Dual Core Desktop PC
Most small form factor personal computers (SFFPC) struggle between computing power, cooling and noise issues. Requiring only 122 cubic inches of space, the Nova incorporates a robust Intel Core 2 Duo Desktop processor for efficient multitasking and quality digital audio/video enjoyment. Adopting solid capacitors, a unique L-shape heat dissipation module, S-shape heat pipes and three AI fans – The P22 is capable of exceptionally quiet, yet powerful computing at only 25dB.

High Speed Connectivity with 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.0
Supporting the 802.11n wireless standard, the Nova’s high 300 Mbps transmission rate allows users to easily download a 30-minute HD video in under a minute! The embedded Bluetooth device also provides effortless data streaming between the Nova and other peripherals such as notebooks and handheld devices.

Flexible Music Playback Options
A pair of built-in speakers housed at the front of the Nova offer unobtrusive, high quality audio output. For home theater configurations, the Nova can also support 5.1 analog or digital surround output with Dolby® Digital Live or DTS® connect technology.

Style and Space
The Nova accommodates nearly any environment with ease – whether working from a desk, a nightstand or an open living room, the Nova is designed for the space conscious user. Available in glossy pearl white and piano black, the Nova’s streamlined design, touch sensors and stylish stand seamlessly integrate with modern interiors, reflecting a tasteful individual while adding style to any surrounding. Smaller and lighter than most notebooks, the Nova can be easily ported from one room to another, adapting to different situations and needs via a docking station port.
